Terri Janke and Company was commissioned by the Australian Museums and Galleries Association (AMaGA) in 2018 to prepare the landmark document First Peoples: A Roadmap for enhancing Indigenous engagement in museums and galleries.

This 10-Year Indigenous Roadmap was delivered on Thursday 16th of May 2019, and is committed to improving Indigenous engagement and employment in the museums and galleries sector.

First Peoples and Australian Museums and Galleries: A Report on the Engagement of Indigenous Australians in the Museums and Galleries Sector 

presents the findings of the AMaGA Indigenous
Roadmap project and examines the core issues of past and current Indigenous engagement in the Australian museums and galleries sector.

It is a valuable resource that can be read in conjunction with the Indigenous Roadmap document above.
